This Privacy Policy governs the processing of personal data of users of the service provided by LOCKIFY S.L.(hereinafter, “LOCKIFY”), in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

• Type and number of identification document (DNI, NIE or passport)
• In the case of professional clients or companies: company name (legal name), tax identification number (NIF/CIF), and details of the legal representative

2.2 Contact data

• Email address
• Phone number

2.3 Contractual and financial data

• Information related to the contracted storage unit
• Payment history, billing, and additional services

2.4 Access and usage data

• Access logs to the facilities and storage units
• Digital identifiers, access credentials, and technical logs

2.5 Video surveillance

• Images captured by video surveillance systems installed in common areas of the facilities, solely for security purposes

LOCKIFY does not request or store copies or photographs of identity documents.

3. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING

Personal data will be processed for the following purposes:

• Managing the contractual relationship and providing the storage service
• Controlling access to the facilities and ensuring security
• Managing payments, billing, and recurring charges
• Handling requests, incidents, and customer support
• Complying with legal and regulatory obligations
• Preventing fraud, misuse, or unauthorized use of the service

4. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

The processing of personal data is based on:

• The performance of the contract entered into with the user
• Compliance with applicable legal obligations
• LOCKIFY’s legitimate interest in ensuring the security of the facilities and the service
• The user’s consent, where legally required

5. DATA RETENTION

Personal data will be retained:

• For the duration of the contractual relationship
• For the periods required by applicable regulations after termination of the contract
• Video surveillance footage will be retained for a maximum period of 30 days, unless it must be retained for legal or judicial reasons

Personal data may be disclosed to:

• Technology and service providers necessary for the proper provision of the service
• Financial institutions and payment platforms
• Public administrations and competent authorities, where legally required

Under no circumstances will LOCKIFY sell personal data to third parties.

If any service providers are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), LOCKIFY will ensure that international data transfers are carried out in accordance with the safeguards provided for under the GDPR.
