LOCKIFY S.L.
1. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
1.1 LOCKIFY provides a fully automated storage service, intended exclusively for the storage of movable goods for personal or professional use.
1.2 The facilities include, among other features:
• video surveillance systems;
• electronic access control systems;
• fire detection and protection systems;
• ventilation and appropriate conditions for storage;
• shared auxiliary equipment (such as carts and ladders), when available.
1.3 The service is provided without on-site staff, through digital access and management systems.
2. ACCESS TO THE FACILITIES AND UNITS
2.1 The Client will have 24-hour access, 7 days a week, throughout the duration of the Agreement, except in cases of interruption due to technical reasons, security measures, maintenance, or force majeure.
2.2 Access is granted exclusively through the systems enabled by LOCKIFY (mobile application, digital credentials, access codes, or equivalent means).
2.3 The Client is responsible for the confidentiality and proper use of their access credentials, as well as for the persons to whom they grant access.
2.4 LOCKIFY may grant temporary or courtesy access for viewing available units, with limited duration and at no cost, under the conditions communicated at the relevant time.
3. AUTHORIZED USE OF THE UNITS
3.1 The Units are intended exclusively for the storage of lawful movable goods.
3.2 The following activities are expressly prohibited:
• using the Unit as a workspace, residence or place of habitual stay;
• using the address of LOCKIFY as a registered office, tax address or postal address;
• carrying out commercial, industrial or professional activities within the facilities;
• manipulating, modifying or forcing locks, electrical systems or security systems.
3.3 The Client must maintain the Unit in appropriate conditions of order, cleanliness and safety.
4. PROHIBITED GOODS
For reasons of safety, hygiene and regulatory compliance, it is prohibited to store, among others:
• food, perishable products or items susceptible to decomposition;
• liquids of any kind;
• flammable, explosive, toxic, corrosive or hazardous substances;
• fuels, oils, chemicals or gases;
• objects capable of generating odors, vapors or contamination;
• animals, plants or any living beings;
• weapons, ammunition or materials whose possession is illegal or restricted;
• cash, securities, financial instruments or means of payment;
• works of art, antiques or items of special value;
• any other goods that are not suitable for safe storage.
The use of electrical outlets or power connections is strictly prohibited.
5. RESPONSIBILITY FOR STORED GOODS
5.1 The Client is the sole party responsible for the goods stored, including their nature, legality, condition and packaging.
5.2 LOCKIFY does not know or control the contents of the Units and assumes no responsibility for the Client’s goods, except in the cases expressly provided for in the Agreement.
5.3 The Client shall be liable for any damage caused to the facilities, other units or third parties as a result of the stored contents or improper use of the service.
6. INSURANCE
6.1 The service includes basic insurance coverage, as indicated in the Agreement.
6.2 If the value of the stored goods exceeds the basic coverage limit, the Client must arrange extended coverage.
7. NON-PAYMENT AND SECURITY MEASURES
7.1 In the event of non-payment, LOCKIFY may:
• block the Client’s access to the Unit and the facilities;
• suspend the service partially or entirely.
7.2 Blocking access does not exempt the Client from their payment obligations.
8. OPENING OF UNITS AND ABANDONED GOODS
8.1 LOCKIFY may access the Unit in the following situations:
• emergency or risk to persons or facilities;
• reasonable indications of a breach of these Rules of Use;
• prolonged non-payment;
• legal or administrative request.
8.2 Goods may be transferred to a secure area, and any resulting costs will be borne by the Client.
8.3 If the Client fails to retrieve the goods within a reasonable period of time, the goods may be considered abandoned, and the measures provided for in the Agreement and applicable legislation may be applied.
9. COMMON AREAS AND COEXISTENCE
9.1 The Client must respect common areas and the rights of other users.
9.2 The following actions are prohibited:
• obstructing corridors, access routes or emergency exits;
• generating noise, dirt or disturbances;
• improper use of shared equipment or facilities.
10. COMMUNICATIONS AND SUPPORT
10.1 Communications with LOCKIFY shall preferably be carried out through digital means.
10.2 Support channels and service hours will be published on the website or in the application.
11. MODIFICATION OF THE RULES OF USE
11.1 LOCKIFY may modify these Rules of Use for legal, technical or operational reasons.
11.2 Any modifications will be communicated to the Client and will enter into force as provided for in the Agreement.
12. BREACH
Failure to comply with these Rules of Use may result in:
• suspension of access;
• termination of the Agreement;
• adoption of appropriate legal actions and claims for damages.
